2024-25 Base Salary: $40,200. Up to 13 years of experience are accepted for salary placement.

Fully-funded health insurance is included. Mead is conveniently located 20 minutes west of Omaha, 20 minutes south of Fremont, and 40 minutes north of Lincoln, which provides for a number of housing options. We have a stable enrollment of approximately 275 students in grades PK-12. The benefits of our location and small size provide students, teachers, and families with a unique educational experience.

Mead Public School has the following vacancies for the 2024-2025 school year:
Multiple Paraprofessional / Teacher’s Aide Positions Available for 2024-25
Mead Public Schools is accepting applications for a Preschool Teacher’s Aide and a 7-12 Teacher’s Aide, as well as a Teacher’s Aide/Library Assistant for the 2024-25 school year. The 7-12 position will be prioritized for the Special Education program, but will work with all students as needed. The Teacher’s Aide/Library Assistant will support various elementary and secondary library activities and will work with students as needed. Seven hours per day on school days is estimated for all positions. $15.00 per hour starting wage. Head football, head boys basketball, and assistant boys basketball are available with these positions. No insurance benefits are included with these positions.

Head Football and/or Head Boys Basketball Coach
Mead Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Head Football Coach and Head Boys Basketball for the 2024-25 school year. No teaching positions are currently available. Candidates without a teaching certificate must hold, or be able to obtain, a Nebraska Department of Education or Special Services Certificate in the area of coaching. The Head Football Coach is responsible for all aspects of the program and is expected to lead the football program in a manner that serves the student-athletes who participate and to represent the best interests of the school district. The head coach is responsible for ensuring that all activities related to the program follow the rules and policies established by the district and the Nebraska School Activities Association.
