Philipp Mancuso Biography
Hello, my name is Philipp Mancuso. This will serve as my first year with Mead Public Schools. I currently teach 6th grade and I am the offensive and defensive line coach for the Mead high school football team. My first year of teaching was the 2017-2018 school year and I most recently served as a 5th grade teacher in Texas. Most of my day's will be spent in my classroom, on the football field, or at home with my wife.
I went to high school in Texas and played 4 years of football. While in high school, I was offered a football scholarship to Concordia University-Nebraska. While at Concordia, I obtained my Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I am currently certified K-6 with my 7-12 coaching endorsement. Within the next few years I intend to get started on my masters degree.
Outside of school you will find me with My wife and our 2 dogs, Buddy and Addy. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, traveling, going on hikes, cooking on the grill, swimming, and of course watching football.
I was born in Germany and was raised in a military family. My father served in the U.S Army for over 30 years. Throughout my life I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to many different parts of the world. I have been to over 20 countries including France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Netherlands, and Australia. I moved to America right around when I was 6 years old and have been here ever since. While in America, I have lived in Kentucky, Texas, and Nebraska. I have also been fortunate enough to have been able to over 30 different states.
