FFA LSE Competitions
On December 5th, the Mead FFA Chapter traveled to Raymond Central High School to compete in District LSE contests.
Members put in hard work to prepare for districts and are to be commended for their dedication.
In senior public speaking, Josiah Sohriakoff and Cassie Tweedy competed, Josiah receiving a blue and Cassie with a red ribbon.
Finishing with a red ribbon, Ag Demo taught us to make soy candles in new ways. Marissa Napolitano, Andrea Bagnato, and Dylan Taylor competed.
Job interview competed by Aidan Mongan resulted in a blue ribbon finish.
The Creed competition results resulted in both Emily Hanson and Delaney Patocka receiving a blue ribbon.
Ag extemporaneous by Delaney Vaccaro placed her with a blue ribbon.
CCM parliamentary procedure received a red ribbon, and Senior Parliamentary procedure was presented by Caleb Dickes, Miranda Mueller, McKenna Holloway, Cassie Tweedy, June Johnson, and Ana Leise finished with a white ribbon, they will continue to Senior Parliamentary Procedure next year to claim a new color hopefully.
Ag Literacy presenters both received the highest ribbon, a purple. Presenters included Rebecca Halbmaier and Riley Langemeier, with Rebecca advancing to state.
The purples didn't stop there though; Discovery Speaking was extremely successful and both participants, Lauren Holloway and Kyla Hrdlicka, also advanced to state.
Our last purple ribbon was awarded to Freshman Abby Miller, along with a plaque in honor of her being the district champion.
Our awards reflect our student hard work and dedication in and out of the classroom, and we hope to continue to excel at these competitions.
