Online Resources Available to Students
Students at Mead Public Schools have access to several on-line resources. All of the resources described below can be accessed from school or home computers. These can be very helpful for research and other educational purposes.
This site actually offers students the choice of five different databases.
Kids InfoBits: Kids InfoBits meets the research needs of students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. It features a developmentally appropriate, visually graphic interface, a subject-based topic tree search and full-text, age-appropriate, curriculum-related magazine, newspaper and reference content.

Discovery Education each student has username and password
Discovery Education offers a breadth and depth of digital media content that is immersive, engaging and brings the world into the classroom to give every student a chance to experience fascinating people, places, and events. All content is aligned to state standards, can be aligned to custom curriculum, and supports classroom instruction regardless of the technology platform.
Khan Academy no id or password necessary
If you can’t help your children with math (or other subjects) this is the site for you! With a library of over 2,700 simple videos covering everything from arithmetic to physics, finance, and history and 255 practice exercises, we're on a mission to help you learn what you want, when you want, at your own pace.
