School Closings and Raider Alerts/School Beacon

As inclement weather approaches (don't let the last two days fool you), you need to be aware of several changes to the Raider Alerts program which is now called the School Beacon and is sponsored by the Bank of Mead.
This system is used to notify patrons of school closings, early dismissals, cancellations and other needed alerts. You can choose to receive any of the following: a text message, an e-mail message, or a voice message to the phone number or e-mail address of your choice. You can sign up for notification by clicking the School Beacon button in the buttons section of this website. The buttons sections is located on the rights side of the home page.
If you signed up last year, you should check your information to verify its accuracy and to also select which notification you wish to receive. Your user name is your e-mail address and the original password you chose when you signed up. If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the Forgot Password link and they will send you a temporary password that you can change when you log onto the site.
