Make-up Days Announced

As you know, this has been a long, cold and difficult winter for everyone. With the storm of the past weekend, the Mead Public Schools have had a total of 7 full snow days and two late starts. Because of this Superintendent Dale Rawson has announced that two days will need to be made up in order to meet the state requirements for school attendance.
In order to make up a portion of the time missed this year due to inclement weather, the staff inservice scheduled for Wednesday February 24 will be cancelled and a day of school with students will be held on that date. Also, the scheduled vacation day for Friday March 5 will now become a day of school.
If additional days are missed this year, other vacation dates may be voided to make up time.
