Goodrich Scholarship (UNO)

Deadline: March 1

The Goodrich Scholarship is a merit-and-need based scholarship program for residents of Nebraska planning on attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha and who have not earned more than 31 college credits by May of the year they would enter the program.  Recipients receive tuition, general fees, and a textbook voucher for a maximum of 140 credit hours or until graduation, whichever comes first.  Students also receive a comprehensive program of other academic and non-academic support services.  The program allows students to choose any major at UNO. 

Required Application Materials
1.  Scholarship information form (completed between October 1 and March 1)
2.  Apply for admission to UNO and be accepted
3.  Two official reference forms
4.  FAFSA
5.  English Placement and Proficiency Exam (EPPE) free test which must be taken and processed before February 23
6.  Transcripts and ACT/SAT scores

After completed files are received, eligible applicants will then be invited for an on-campus interview and asked to write a personal essay.

Note: applicants who receive tuition scholarships including but not limited to Regents, Chancellor's, Dean's, and Buffett cannot combine or stack any of those awards with a Goodrich scholarship.
