1. March 30 - TeamMates Day at Runza
Wahoo Runza is going to hold a TeamMates day! 10% of all sales will be donated directly to the Saunders County TeamMates Mentoring Program!
2. April 16 – Time For TeamMates,
Be an MVP Promotion
To an end-of-the-year celebration for the Saunders County TeamMates Mentoring Program. FRIDAY, APRIL 16TH is the day we will be celebrating the difference mentoring makes in the lives of youth by participating in the “Time for TeamMates, Be an MVP.” Simply purchase a Husker Red “MVP” t-shirt for only $10, wear your t-shirt on Friday, April 16th and enjoy a casual day at work, at home, at school! All proceeds stay in Saunders County to build the TeamMates Mentoring Program in our community.
For each $10 donation, your name will be entered into a drawing (to be held the day of the walk) for:
1. Autographed Tom Osborne Football
Or
2. Autographed Tom Osborne Book
“Beyond the Final Score, There’s More to Life Than the Game.”
TeamMates mentoring programs across the state, including mentors, mentees, and community participants, will be participating in the seventh annual, statewide promotion. Over 5,000 individuals are expected to register for this event that recognizes the importance of the one hour that mentors spend with their mentees each week.
TeamMates Mentoring Program is a one-to-one, school-based mentoring program serving students in grades 3-12. It is the largest mentoring program in Nebraska and one of the largest school-based mentoring programs in the United States.

Sponsorship levels are:
-$500 for your business logo + 15 free shirts + 50 entries in drawing
- $200 for your business listed on the t-shirt + 5 free shirts + 20 entries in the drawing!

3. Fill the TeamMates Game Tub!
We are looking for gently used games to fill the TeamMates Tub. The games will be used at the school during mentoring sessions between the mentors and their students. You can drop off the games at your school! We received lots of games from the Lincoln Sam’s Club through our “Giving Tree” but we are still in need of more!!!
