National Anthem Singers Perform
On Monday November 23rd prior to the start of the Class D-1 State Championship football game seven students from Mead High School performed the National Anthem. The game was broadcast over the Nebraska Educational Television Network. Thanks to the webcast of the game the students who were still in school were able to watch their classmates perform.
The group, who was selected from a large group of candidates consists of: Emily Garcia and Rachel Anderson, both seniors, Taylor Hannan a junior, Chelsea Musgrave and Jenna Schutt who are sophomores and freshmen Julia Couch and Stevie Kruger.
