Bill and Marie Wageman Scholarship

Deadline: March 5

The Mead Education Foundation awards the Bill and Marie Wageman Scholarship to students who are graduating from the Mead High School.

To be eligible applicants must
*be graduating from Mead High School
*have a 2.5 GPA for the final two years of high school
*present good citizenship and character
*have attended Mead High School for three years
*be able to demonstrate a commitment to attending a post-secondary (trade school or technical) school of his/her choice

To apply, applicants must
1.  complete application form
2.  typed essay detailing why interested in going to a trade or technical school, what trade will be learned, and how this might help in the pursuit of a lifetime career
3.  include three letters of recommendation from community members and school personnel that will attest to the student's good citizenship and good character.  (Use more than one source for recommendations
4.  include a copy of high school transcript (include 1st semester of senior year)
5.  sign the application form

Completed applications must be delivered to Dr. Rawson's office before 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 5.  No applications will be accepted after that time.
