Mead Musicians Compete at District Music Contest

The Mead Junior/Senior High music department consisting of both band and vocal groups recently competed at the District music competition in Yutan.  Simply put, the music department had an outstanding day and came away with a number of superior ratings.  Listed below are the groups and their ratings.  

Congratulations to Mrs. Virgl and all the members of the Mead music department.

7-12 Band received a superior (1) rating!!!  
Women’s Chorus received a superior (1) rating!  
9-12 Mixed Choir received an excellent (2) rating (only 1.5 points shy of a superior).
