The Title 1 readers recently had a party to celebrate their successes and hard work. Kim Thrasher, the Title 1 Reading Teacher said, "We have had a great year and it is important and fun to come together and PARTY. We played with the parachute in the gym, had some treats, and listened to a few success stories."
She went on to say that, "kids do great things when they feel supported and encouraged, that is what I hope they do for one another. When these kids come up to my room to work, we work hard because they only have so much time out of the regular classroom." One of the most encouraging things for Mrs. Thrashers is the fact that she rarely hears complaining, the students are happy and grateful to receive additional instruction! What a beautiful thing!
