NAIFA Scholarship
Deadline: March 12
Five $500 scholarships are available from the Omaha Chapter of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors to area high school seniors who wish to further their education toward a college degree. Winners will be notified by April 10.
Candidates must:
1. graduate from a high school within NAIFA-Omaha boundaries
2. be interested in furthering their education, with preference given to candidates interested in courses of study such as education, business/management/finance, marketing/sales, or actuarial studies; and preference given to those who attend a Nebraska university, college, or community college
3. have an above-average grade point average in high school
4. demonstrate good character and leadership
Applicants must fill out application and answer the given questions on a separate sheet of paper. You must also enclose a letter stating your vocational or career goals and how you expect college to further those goals.
