SCHOOL BEGINS AUGUST 13TH
Wow, were did the summer go? It seems that school was just ending a few weeks ago and now the administrative team is preparing to attend Administrator Days in Kearney which means school is just around the corner.
Teachers will report to work on August 11th and 12th for two days of in-service and preparation for the new school year. Students will begin school on August 13th at 8:00 am at the Jr-Sr High and at 8:10 am at the elementary with an 11:30 am dismissal. No lunch will be served that day. Thursday, August 14th will be a full day and we will dismiss at our normal dismissal times, 3:15 pm at the elementary and 3:27 pm at the Jr-Sr High.
We will have three new teachers joining our staff this year. Jason Larsen will be taking over for Mrs. King in the Fifth Grade classroom. Mr. Larsen was an aid at the elementary school last year. Kori Jensen will be replacing Mrs. Kocian as the new Agriculture Sciences teacher. Mrs. Jensen taught the past two years at Prague. Courtney Pennell will be replacing Ms. Janke in Art. Ms. Pennell is a first year teacher having recently graduated from college.
