PowerSchool for Parents
As a teacher, I was well aware of how often students used PowerSchool to check their grades. As a Principal, I use PowerSchool on a nearly daily basis to check on students, including my own children. I realized, however, that I have very little knowledge of how to access and use PowerSchool as a parent. I assume that other parents would like to have better knowledge of how to use PowerSchool. Thus, during the Community Hamburger Fry on August 19, we will present some PowerSchool for Parents demonstrations. These brief sessions will cover such topics as accessing PowerSchool, viewing grades, and tracking lunch balances. We will also take a quick look at the Mead Public Schools’ homepage. PowerSchool can be an extremely useful tool for parents. Please join us for PowerSchool for Parents so that we can use it to its fullest extent.
