High school students who are interested in learning about a
career in local, county, or state law enforcement should attend the
COPS Career Opportunities and Professions Seminar. This
annual seminar features federal and local, county and state law
enforcement. This year law enforcement agencies from across
the state will be present to provide information about their
departments. There will also be demonstrations by K-9 units,
a bomb squad, the Nebraska State Patrol helicopter, and the SWAT
Special Weapons and Tactical. Agency cruisers will also be
displayed and available for students to access.
Attendance is limited. Send in your completed registration
and fee ($15) per person by October 3. Registration after October 3
is $20.
Registration fee includes morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion at the
conclusion of the seminar.
