NHS Tapping Ceremony
Six students were tapped on Thursday, April 10, indicating they will be inducted into Mead’s National Honor Society during Academic Awards night May 6. The National Honor Society is the leader among organizations and societies that promotes appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Students who were tapped received a rose as a sign of their selection into the National Honor Society. Those students receiving a rose included Brittani Brabec, Shelby Brabec, Emily Garcia, Kristina Johnson, Ashley Moravec, and Brett Virgl.
Following the tapping ceremony, current members, new members and their parents were invited to a reception held in the library.
