Summer Health Professions Career Workshop

The UNMC Youth Learning Center at the University of Nebraska
Medical Center will be holding its annual Summer Health Professions
Career Workshop (SHPCW) Tuesday, July 29-Friday, August 1.
This workshop is designed to give students the opportunity to
investigate different health careers through a hands-on learning
program. Students eligible to participate are those entering
into their junior year, have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, and who have
an interest in the health professions. There is a maximum
enrollment of 18 students.
The cost for the program is $250 which includes breakfast, lunch,
and snacks while on the UNMC campus during the day, program costs
and fees, transportation while in Omaha, and chaperone and dorm
room expenses.
Applications are available from Miss Moser and are due to UNMC by
