Wisner-Pilger Invite

The Mead Raiders track and field team took 17 athletes to Wisner for the Wisner-Pilger Invite and 14 of those had personal bests.  We had 11 personal bests on the girl's side and 14 personal bests on the boy's, 25 total PB’s iin the meet.  Josh Charles had an amazing day placing first in the Discus and second in the Shot Put.  In the discus Josh broke Bill Dieckman’s school record of 156ft 0in. with a throw of 159ft 8in. he also set the meet record with that throw.  Heather Thorson won the Triple Jump giving us our first gold medal on the girl’s side.
